Sainte Marguerite's Chapel
On Walk no. 4 is a charming little chapel.
It's said to have been built in 1600 near the site of a hermitage.
The legend goes that it was built over the spring feeding the castle water tank. This tank is still in existence and can be seen.
The chapel is in an outstanding setting alongside the old Liège road. It used to house statues of Our Lady of Pain and St Margaret, but sadly they were stolen in December 1973. St Margaret used to be invoked by pregnant women for a comfortable delivery.
